What should I expect when i visit?

Our regular meeting times are designed for the worship of God and the study of his Holy Word by the collective members of our congregation. Visitors are always welcome and may choose to participate or simply observe.

We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Questions that others have asked are presented and answered below. If you have any additional questions, please contact us.

When do you meet?

We currently meet weekly at the following times:

Sunday morning Bible study .............................................. 9:30 a.m.

Sunday morning worship ................................................... 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday evening Bible study ........................................ 6:30 p.m.

WHAT ARE THE WORSHIP SERVICES LIKE?

We understand from the Bible that worship is two-fold in its purpose.

First, worship is designed to offer praise and honor to God. We worship God because He's worthy; and all the attention of our worship should be fully devoted to Him from our hearts. Second, God intended for our time together to be encouraging to all those gathered. Like the early Christians, our worship is simple: We sing together, we pray together, and we share in in the Lord's Supper (Communion) together. In addition we listen to a Bible message from our preacher.

At the end of our worship service we always have a time when we share prayer requests and announcements with each other. We think you'll appreciate the atmosphere once you worship with us.

WHAT ABOUT A FINANCIAL OFFERING?

Our members make a financial offering each week as a sacrifice in honor to God. That money is used for benevolence and ministries of our congregation as well as foreign missions, support for our preacher and maintenance for our facilities. Visitors are guests and are not obligated to make an offering. At the same time, visitors who wish to express gratitude to God with a financial offering are not discouraged in doing so.

where do you meet?

Our physical location (and mailing address) is:

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

The parking lot is in the back of the building. Just follow the driveway around to the back. If needed, you'll see the overflow parking in the grassy area.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We have no dress code. Most of those who attend wear what is best described as casual or business casual. We want you to feel and feel welcome; you will not be judged by what you wear.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

We have a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers at all of our meeting times. You may leave your child, or if you prefer, you may stay in the nursery with them. (You will be able to listen to the Sunday morning worship from the nursery.)

If you come for Bible study on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening, children will go to their age-appropriate class. We'll have greeters to meet you and show you where the classes are. During Sunday morning worship they will stay with you. We worship together as one big family. That's something we do on purpose. Worshiping together is a wonderful and formative experience. On Sunday evening we currently have a class that combines all ages with younger children sitting up front if they desire.
